Haine Brigade - Sauvages

Holy crap!!! OOP French anarcho-punk from the late '80s! Suffice it to say that I downloaded this, although it was a BITCH to find a copy that would work in iTunes. This download, unlike the one I used, has the correct song titles and track order, so you should appreciate that I did the work for you.
I actually really enjoy this album, unlike many of the other ".mp3 rips of obscure European hardcore LPs" that I have. Haine Brigade, from what I can gather, formed in either Paris or Lyon in 1981. This was their only full-length album (and possibly their only recordings?), which was released in 1987. I'm guessing that this wasn't a posthumous release, but what the fuck do I know? I don't speak (or read) French.
Anyway, this is pretty high-quality stuff: melodic punk rock with alternating male and female vocalists, along with some occasional artsy saxophone parts. If you're into anarcho-punk, I'd compare this to England's Icon A.D. (who had their discography reissued on Overground a couple years ago), or NYC's A.P.P.L.E. For a better-known comparison...fuck, I don't know. Listen. Enjoy.
