Wowee. It's been months since anyone updated this blog. Well, I just got a USB turntable as a slightly belated graduation gift, so I'm going to upload the first 7" that I ripped. The sound quality is less than awesome, and I hope there isn't any extraneous noise on the tracks, but what the fuck do you care? It's free.
Anyway, this E.P. is "Hell, How Could We Make Any More Money Than This?" by Colorado (I think) anarcho-punk/crust band Dead Silence. Musically, it's pretty basic mid-tempo hardcore punk - nothing to get excited about. The lyrics, however are pretty damn great. The best part of the EP is the booklet, though. I'm not including scans, because I'm lazy (maybe later?), but it's got some of the best pop-punk-baiting satire that 1994 had to offer. The title and art are a swipe at newly major-label Bad Religion, and one of the fun facts included reads: "Did you know: punk rock bad-boys NOFX have released several albums (we think)."
I guess you should enjoy. Please pardon the sound quality.
